Wanda Lowery, PT
Wanda has lived in Savannah since 1983 and now calls Savannah home. She attended Armstrong Atlantic State University and graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. After graduation, she worked at Memorial Health University Medical Center and was fortunate to receive training in the pediatric inpatient and outpatient settings. Since that time, she has worked for the Babies Can’t Wait Program, Pediatria for Kids and Jelly Beans Therapies before becoming a member of the team at Pediatric Therapies of Savannah. Pediatrics has been the focus of her career since graduation. Her specialties include treatment in the areas of premature infants, children with medically complex conditions and children of all ages with general motor delays. Wanda also contracts with a national company that reviews the provision of physical therapy to the pediatric population. This provides a look at research based intervention and best practices to establish a plan of care that will help children and their families effectively meet goals through family education and collaboration with their therapy team.
